The idea of creating this EP is in itself a journey. Originally, "Saisonner" the EP was the result of artist SIMONE meeting camera assistant Andrea Garces, Sonidos, on set in the making of one of Simone's music videos. Andrea was interested in marketing and had previously worked for companies like Twitter on branding and marketing. Simone was always looking for somebody to help take her to the next level by organizing her creative talent into a product. The plan was that Andrea would assist Simone in the creation aspect by being Creative Director for Simone's brand as well as Production Manager for shows and concerts. In turn Simone would fly Andrea out to Europe for a Listening Party they were planning in Paris and channel traction back to Sonidos so that they could both further their careers and make money doing what they loved. As a surprise, Simone bought an extra ticket to take Andrea to Iceland before arriving in Paris to show her loyalty and appreciation of Andrea's contribution. For 10 months the two made a concerted effort to meet regularly to build the concept for Simone's new EP, despite both having jobs and being entrepreneurs.

In the final stages of production for one of Simone's shows, Andrea chose to cut off communication with Simone without warning or explanation. Deeply saddened by the inexplicable departure and countless unreturned communication attempts, Simone continued with her dream. She had incurred all costs of production materials for the time spent together, travel and food for Andrea, production materials for the show, production costs for the making of 3 music videos, and flights and hotel stay costs for both Andrea and Simone in Europe.

Simone chose to invest further, sourcing more materials and now developing the concentrations herself to change the initial brand profile for BISOUS INC. Out of respect for Andrea's time vested, Simone chose to uphold her initial agreement by still placing the name Sonidos in the music video credits.

Simone then partnered with Teddy Jackson, CEO of DOBETTER LLC, to further the success of her brand. He became the Marketing Strategist and overall Brand Consultant for Simone's EP. Changing the name of the EP, the design and cover art, logos, and overall aesthetic, Teddy took Simone to the level she had been praying for. Teddy's remarkable eye for fashion and visual aesthetic brought Simone's desire of becoming a product to reality. They are both Executive Producers for the EP Ready as well as for all her music videos for this EP.

The EP titled READY was released on November 11th, 2017 as 11:11 is significant to Simone.

For the first 3 videos, Simone brought on Eric Wilkinson, Todd Burr, and Paul Araki. Simone choreographed all pieces in these three videos: GOOD GIRL, STOP ME, and TOLD YOU SO. Paul Araki and Eric Wilkinson were involved in making STOP ME, a concept Simone had envisioned at dance studio, the place where she developed her love for HipHop. GOOD GIRL and TOLD YOU SO were filmed at DISCO in downtown Chicago. While on tour with Towkio, Todd's hard drive crashed and all footage for Simone's second video that was to be included in GOOD GIRL was lost. Simone had incurred all costs of production materials for that video as well as paying for all the videos herself. Simone then brought on Rey Carpio and his team of Rusko and Paru to reshoot the video in Lower Wacker, where Simone spent most of her summer days managing her father's restaurant along the Chicago Riverwalk.

None of the dancers from the previous footage were available as only 3 days were given in advance to shoot. Wanting to make this the most impactful video and appreciative of Chantel's support, Chantel was named head dancer, leading rehearsals and practices. Chantel choreographed a beginning and an ending to GOOD GIRL. Through Chantel, Simone hired Jasmin Williams and Talia Grace and a couple days later they filmed the second half of GOOD GIRL. Teddy Jackson styled Simone as well as the dancers and both him and Simone executive produced the second video. Rey and Simone decided to combine the previous footage from GOOD GIRL and this new video to use as the official GOOD GIRL music video.

The video for MIRROR was directed by Araki with assistant director Okan Esmez; featured in Lacuna Lofts, where Simone practically recorded all her songs. The meaning behind MIRROR was about reflection being ambiguity in its purest form. Through cognition, we're able to ask ourselves who we are, rather than who we appear to be. In MIRROR, Simone explored different personas ultimately accepting that each one defines who she is. MIRROR was released on January 11th.

Teddy and Simone collaborated on making merchandise, starting Simone's first merchandise launch: The KISS KIT. All designs, flyers, stickers, logos, and labels were made by DOBETTER LLC and costs were divided between BISOUS INC and DOBETTER LLC. The launch was held on Feb 10th at LEADERS 1354 and sold Simone's KISS KIT packages. A KISS KIT included: a BISOUS Beanie Hat, a BISOUS KISS-STICK, and a BISOUS Sticker. There were 50 Limited Editions made of her KISS KITs.
